Sadly, there is no news on the matter since, and Ceraldi only suggested that he’d like to see the game remastered. However, last year Hit & Run producer Vlad Ceraldi speculated that a remake could happen, and be released on the newer consoles.
This is a question that may never be completely answered in the form of an actual remake. But why has their most popular video game not been remade yet? The Simpsons is, and always will be a fan favourite, with new TV episodes constantly coming out.
